The Industry Exchange has, by mutual agreement, assumed responsibility for developing the series of Strategic Forums designed and developed by the team at ISF.
These forums had been running for a number of years and looked at the relationship between business and education from a bilateral (UK – Elsewhere) standpoint. The Industry Exchange is pleased to be able to further develop these important meetings using our Exchange methodology and to add this work to our portfolio of Exchange events.

The Middle East and the UK
Five meetings have been held over the past four years to consider strategic options for higher and further education in the UK and the countries of the Middle East and North Africa. The first two forums were held in London (September 2002 and September 2003), the third in Abu Dhabi in April 2004, the fourth in London in November 2004, and the fifth in Cairo in September 2005. Turkey
A strategic forum was held in Istanbul in April 2006 to review the approaches taken by Turkey and the United Kingdom towards education and training for business and industry. The report is available (here)
